Narrative Filmmaker Panel: “So You Made A Movie…Now What?”
So you made a movie … now what? Do you submit your film to a Festival? Look for a Theatrical Distributor? Or maybe try to get your film on the direct to DVD path? Or do you exhibit your film on the Internet? With all of these options you would think getting your film seen would be easy. Right? Join local and national filmmakers as they discuss the difficult process of getting a film seen after it’s in the ‘can’ and ready for exhibition.
Sat. Sept. 25, 9:30 am Regal Park Terrace 6
The Charlotte Film Market: “Coming soon (MAYBE, but highly unlikely) to a Theater near you!”
Independent movies are more popular than ever. And with the increase in population and diversity in our region one would think demographic changes would reflect a greater variety of film available in Charlotte. But does an audience for diverse films really exist? Or do we only like to think it does? Join the Charlotte Film Festival as we host organizers from a few of Charlotte’s leading Film Groups and local film critics as we discuss the growing demand for foreign, art house, independent and alternative film in Charlotte. If they build it, will they really come?
Sat. Sept.25, 11:00 am Regal Park Terrace 6
The Documentary Film: “Do You Swear To Tell The Truth, The Whole Truth, And Nothing But The Truth?”
A cinematic masterpiece unfolds around us every day. Join the Charlotte Film Festival and a distinguished group of documentary filmmakers as they discuss the challenges of capturing society’s hidden stories. Learn from their experiences and be inspired as they discuss story, technology, and the lives behind great documentary filmmaking.

Work in Progress: The Endless
Please join us for a conversation with a filmmaker whose Work in Progress has been selected for review. A nameless man wanders a cold and seedy city. Witnessing a violent crime, he contemplates morality, humanity, existence, and the recurring randomness of everything.
