Audrey lives in “The Shut-In Period,” an era dominated by the internet, where society as we know it has ended and no one is exactly sure why. Most people have either died or gone mad, and the few who’ve managed to survive have been implanted with a chip that records every second of their day. Now memories, thoughts, and emotions live on after death and everyone must fight and kill to stay alive.
